We’re looking for a strong, talented, result‑driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. You will drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution, be the expert on our buyers and competitors, and lay the foundation for market success. You will partner with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute Go-to-Market plans, creating high-impact assets and enabling the field to drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, a diplomatic collaborator, a strategic thinker, and able to exercise sound judgment when needed. Your Day-to-Day

Positioning and Messaging: Be the expert on buyers—their personas, buying criteria, and how they buy. Craft messaging aligned with market and competitive trends, emphasizing differentiators and business value to resonate with target audiences. Content Creation: Produce messaging and content (webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.) that highlight differentiated business value. Presentation and Thought Leadership: Present to internal and external audiences, including sales training, customer briefings, webinars, industry events, and analyst briefings. Be the primary thought leader for the supported solutions. Domain Expertise: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the email security market. Research market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape; translate knowledge into actionable insights for sales, customer success, corporate marketing, product management, and more. Launch Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and launches of new capabilities and releases; support updates throughout the year to drive demand. Sales Enablement: Develop enablement content and tools to help sellers identify opportunities and communicate our value. Dynamic Collaboration: Build strong relationships with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales to align on release benefits and business goals. Customer Advocacy: Leverage customer success stories and testimonials to strengthen positioning and messaging. What You Bring To The Team

8+ years of experience in product marketing; experience in email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT is preferred. BS/BA required (business or technical), MBA a plus. Proven experience marketing to enterprise and technical buyers with the ability to convey concise messages across technical and sales audiences. Strong content creation skills with ability to research, write, and edit high-quality materials in line with messaging guidelines. Passion for understanding the market and translating it into actionable Go-to-Market plans. Analytical mindset with the ability to execute tactically; capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a diverse team. Ability to articulate value propositions at both product and solution levels; strong storytelling, written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences. High energy and enthusiasm; travel willingness up to 10-15% (travel to events and meetings, including international locations). This role can be based in a Proofpoint office, hybrid, or remote.
