Title: CAD Drafter

Location: On-site in Warminster, PA

Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 9 months

• This position is onsite.

• The office is located in Warminster, PA.

Overview

Our client is seeking CAD Drafters to create and update technical drawings for electric and gas facility maps. The ideal candidates will work alone to maintain CAD drawings, troubleshoot designs, and resolve design issues.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Update electric or gas facility maps using Microstation, IrasB, and GIS (G\Tech).

• Research affected documents and associated engineering changes using Asset Suite 8.

• Maintain all CAD drawings per Electric Construction Standards.

• Verify as-built information to ensure the accuracy and integrity of prints.

• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of CAD drafting experience.

• Completion of a Tech School program with a certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting & Design or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

• Microstation Connect, IrasB, and GTech experience.

• Advanced AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience.

• Ability to work effectively alone.

• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in the utility industry

• Experience with Nitro Pro.
