VINE Creative Studio is a New Yorkased creative studio producing motivational, professional, and high-impact content for speakers, coaches, real estate pros, and brands.
Were looking for a hungry, creative Junior Video Editor to join our growing team. This role starts part-time/project-based, with a clear roadmap to a full-time leadership position as our studio expands. Success in this role means delivering clean, creative edits that align with our brand style, while also bringing fresh ideas and storytelling flair that make our content stand out.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging content across multiple formats: short-form reels/shorts, medium and long-form videos, promos, testimonials, and branded ads
- Apply storytelling and pacing skills to keep content compelling and professional
- Deliver edits in multiple formats (vertical 9:16, horizontal 16:9, square 1:1) optimized for social and online platforms
- Follow brand guidelines while contributing creative direction and stylistic improvements
- Collaborate with the team to deliver content on schedule
- Continuously improve skills, workflows, and creative output as the studio grows
Qualifications
- Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva (the more, the better)
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
- Ability to balance brand consistency with creative innovation
- Portfolio that demonstrates editing ability (samples hold as much weight as your resume)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into bigger responsibilities
- Prior experience editing social content, promos, or branded videos is a plus
Competitive entry-level base: $3-$5 USD/hr (approx. $500 /$800/month)
Project-based bonuses on top of base pay
