Department: Library Services Department; Organizational Unit: Library Services South Mainland Micco

Position Type: Permanent. Full Time. Close Date: 10/01/2025

Salary: $2,215.68 to $2,437.25 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Location: South Area/South Mainland Micco Public Library. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and Saturdays. Performs skilled administrative library work directing the activities of a small public library.

Responsibilities

Performs skilled administrative library work directing the activities of a small public library.

Qualifications

A Master\'s degree from a graduate library school program PLUS two (2) years of professional library experience including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity. Must be available after hours for emergencies.

Special Requirements: When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
