Overview

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Writer for our client in the Pharmaceutical industry. This 6 month+ position is fully remote, Hawaii or Pacific time.

W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $50-$55

Responsibilities

  • Willing to work Pacific or Hawaii time zones
  • Documentation Development
  • Create, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, training materials, job aids, and audit plans to support new and optimized business processes.
  • Develop technical documentation for reimplemented solutions, including benefit configuration, automation, and reporting tools.
  • Draft and edit business impact assessments, governance models, and performance dashboards.
  • Project Support
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture requirements, workflows, and technical specifications for both operational and technical workstreams.
  • Support the development and delivery of training materials and communications for client teams, ensuring readiness across all impacted departments.
  • Document and track exception events as appropriate.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, clinical, and operational standards, including NCQA delegation agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain version control and ensure timely updates to documentation as project milestones are achieved.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Facilitate workshops and knowledge transfer sessions by preparing clear agendas, summaries, and follow-up materials.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate revisions to documentation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or enterprise technology projects.
  • Experience supporting large-scale implementation or transformation projects and developing process mapping, SOP documentation, and training material creation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance documentation in healthcare or PBM environments is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, concise documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong research skills: ability to gather information from various sources and synthesize into usable content.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MS Word, Visio, SharePoint) and project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, PBM systems, and benefit configuration.
  • Understanding of audit processes, exception reporting, and performance monitoring.
