The Senior Interior Designer has the opportunity to be one of the key contributing members of this growing firm. You will be integral to our success. This position includes working in conjunction with the lead visionary in all technical and logistical aspects of the projects. The senior designer understands the fundamental practical and aesthetic aspects of design and translates the clients and designers vision into drawings or furniture portfolios. Design & operational duties will be entailed in this role. You will work in tandem with our Operations Manager and Procurement Coordinator to assist in operational, billing, procurement, marketing & other essential daily tasks.

Qualification, knowledge, abilities, and experience
Essential qualifications are:
- Must live in the Austin Metropolitan area. This job requires visits to client's homes and local showrooms
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 3-5 years minimum designing luxury residential spaces
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar software. InDesign or Photoshop experience helpful but not required.
- Microsoft Windows knowledge desired Excel experience is especially beneficial.
- Ability to create Mood Boards using Houzz Pro, DesignFiles or similar software.
Skillset:
- Produce CAD plans (as-built and proposed), elevations, RCP, and detail drawings.
- Measure and onsite documentation
- Sketching and rendering for concept and storyboard work
- Research and Sourcing of FF&E and Fabrics/Wallpapers
- Assist in requesting pricing of FF&E
- Assist in producing a schedule of materials and selections
- Assist in preparing client presentations
- Work with the team to prepare finish boards
- Provide project administrative support to designers and Operations Manager
- Assist in sample library organization
This job operates in both a remote & professional office environment. Occasional work is performed off-site at client, vendor, or storage facilities. However, you are required to live in the Austin, TX, area as most of our clients are local to this area and require physical presence at the job sites.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role with repetitive computer usage. Occasionally the job requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting/carrying supplies, as necessary.
Job Type: Part Time/1099
Initially, this will be a part time position (10-20 hours per week) and will have more hours as we get to the end of the year and beginning of 2026 as projects are being brought in. This role is driven by the number of projects we have ongoing at one time.
Experience:
- ReVit, AutoCAD, Sketchup or similar software: 1 year (Required)
- Houzz Pro software: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dropbox: 1 year (Preferred)
- Asana or similar project management software (Preferred)

Hourly compensation will depend on applicants skillset and experience. Range is $30-$38/hr
