Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned innovation projects through VA’s S0–S7 innovation gates, ensuring adherence to portfolio standards
• Guide project teams through decision points and deliver required evidence packages
• Provide leadership in discovery, prototyping, and usability testing, integrating human-centered design insights
• Collaborate with designers and researchers to translate usability testing findings into actionable decision briefs
• Ensure projects align with VA’s HCD, RE-AIM, and QUERI frameworks and coordinate with analysts for integrated evaluation

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management
• PMP certification (or equivalent)
• Experience managing large-scale programs with multiple projects
• Experience in healthcare organizations preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in human-centered design (HCD)
• Familiarity with usability testing and product development
• Experience with VA’s QUERI and RE-AIM frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple innovation pilots simultaneously
