The Role
We are seeking a full-time, in-person Project Architect to join our growing NYC studio. This role will focus on managing and producing architectural drawing sets for commercial interior fit-outs, particularly in the QSR and hospitality space. The ideal candidate is technically strong, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning a project from SD through CDs, permitting, and construction support.

- Prepare permit sets and manage AHJ submittals with oversight from Construction Director
- Own consultant coordination and integration (MEP, structural, lighting, etc.)
- Participate in client meetings, site surveys, and field documentation
- Perform code reviews, zoning checks, and accessibility analysis
- Support RFI responses, submittal reviews, and construction administration tasks
- Uphold brand standards across multiple locations and ensure design intent is executed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial architecture (hospitality/QSR experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Revit is required
- Deep familiarity with code and permitting processes
- Experience preparing coordinated CD sets and consultant packages
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
- Skilled communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver
- Professional degree in Architecture required; licensure is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of DOB and permitting platforms
- Experience with rollout or multi-unit development
- Knowledge of building envelope and base-building coordination
- Experience mentoring architectural staff or working with offshore teams
What We Offer
- An in-person, collaborative studio environment in NYC
- Hands-on exposure to fast-moving projects and national brand work
- The opportunity to shape design and delivery systems in a growing firm
- A culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
