Part of the overall Analytics Group, the Media Analytics Team focuses on digital analytics, audience insights, and media performance optimization, client reporting and relationships, and cross-functional integration. They deliver campaign reporting and insights to enable data-driven decisions for media mix within the retail media ecosystem. The team audits advertising campaigns, troubleshoots performance issues, tracks and reports on KPIs, and provides consultation to Commerce Media planning and buying teams. They partner with the Commerce Media team to discuss advertising performance, provide campaign insights and recommendations, and continually improve digital media analytics products and services. Additionally, they answer client questions and ensure insights align with business objectives, write and approve proposals and presentations, oversee work, and help drive the growth of the department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various media platforms.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Apply critical thinking to analyze data and derive meaningful media insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support media planning initiatives.
  • Assist in knowledge sharing through internal communication events, training, and other written materials.
  • Maintain relevant marketing certifications and stay informed of media trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Support wider agency initiatives.
  • Show up, be accountable, take responsibility, and persevere.
  • Contribute to deliverables and outcomes.
  • Share insights so others can see what’s happening.

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in media data analysis or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying media performance data and developing custom audiences.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization.
  • Strong skills in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading media analytics methodologies like Multi-Touch Attribution, Audience Development, Clustering, Markov Chain analysis, etc.
  • Familiarity with core media marketing concepts, such as first-party and third-party cookie-based data collection, attribution models, and developing audience segments from digital analytics and data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of retail media ecosystems and platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, plus third-party tools like SKAI, Pacvue, or Criteo.
  • Strong analytical thinking to translate media data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to present media performance findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, campaign integrity, and reliable reporting.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with creative, strategic, and client-facing teams.

Compensation Range: $72,390 - $99,960 annually. This pay range represents the amount the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience, and the Company reserves the right to modify this range. Temporary roles may participate in freelancer/temporary medical plans and may qualify for a 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria are met. For regular roles, medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off are offered. The application deadline for this posting is anticipated to be November 30, 2025.
