Overview
Position: UI Developer
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ
Provide locations/flexible work by preference: 3 days in office
Duration: 6 Months
Days of the week: Monday – Friday
Working Hours (Flexible): Core EST hours (9 latest start) – potential for afterhours releases or incidents
Target Start Date: ASAP
Function of the group: AMG
Industry background: Finance or banking, regulatory industry. Understanding of processes, controls and risk management.
Current initiatives / project
Advisor Exp Portal - UI Dev to help with additional work - portal to review relationships and finances of clients. Emulation into private bank, to answer inquiries on accounts or portfolios.
Team
Team dynamics: Developers and product owner, daily meetings with scrum master
Roles and Responsibilities
- Unit testing
- UI Development – majority of the day
- Discuss with product owner’s progress
- All containerized code
Technical Skills
- Containers – Kubernetes / HELM – package management and deployment
- JUnit
Flex Skills
- OpenShift – how it works, walk through the UI and review pods
Soft Skills
- Collaboration skills / teamwork
- Critical thinking / problem solving
Degrees / Certifications
Computer Science Degree would be nice to have
