Event Marketing Manager - Financial Services - Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for an Event Marketing Manger position with a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. This role will support the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing programs and events, including internal initiatives, industry conferences, and client-facing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of event marketing and communications experience preferably within financial services.
This is a 12-month contract position that will pay $60-70/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3-4 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end event marketing projects, including timelines, logistics, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage content and communications for event invitations, promotions, sales communications, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate registration and communication workflows through internal platforms and tools.
- Support industry conference execution, including booth setup, promotional items, and stakeholder coordination.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, creative, compliance, and operations teams to ensure on-time, brand-compliant delivery.
- Track and measure event and program ROI, and contribute to reporting and analysis efforts post-event.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing deadlines and goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 5–6 years of experience in event marketing or marketing communications, preferably within financial services.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple complex projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with CVENT for event management and registration.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for campaign or event tracking.
