Event Marketing Manager - Financial Services - Boston, MA
We are currently seeking candidates for an Event Marketing Manager to join a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Event Marketing Manager will support the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing programs and events, including internal initiatives, industry conferences, and client-facing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of event marketing and communications experience preferably within financial services.
This is a 12-month contract position that will pay $60-70/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3-4 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of event marketing initiatives, from planning and logistics to execution and deliverables
• Create and manage content for event-related communications, including invitations, promotional materials, and sales collateral
• Handle registration processes and communication flows using internal tools and systems
• Assist with the coordination and execution of industry conferences, including booth setup and promotional merchandise
• Partner with sales, creative, compliance, and operations teams to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery
• Monitor and report on event performance and ROI, supporting post-event analysis and insights
• Effectively manage multiple projects at once, balancing shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 5–6 years of experience in event marketing or marketing communications, ideally within the financial services industry
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects and deadlines concurrently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Hands-on experience using CVENT for event planning and registration
• Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM for tracking events and campaign engagement
