The Role at a Glance
The Manager, Influencer & Ambassador Marketing develops, implements, and manages the organization’s affiliate and influencer marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, web sales, and revenue growth. This role collaborates with Product, Marcom, and e-Commerce teams to reach revenue goals and support key products. It includes partnering with the current agency to transition from an agency-led to an in-house model and to cultivate relationships with affiliates, influencers, and partners to maximize marketing impact. The role requires a driven, curious, flexible, and analytical approach.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Relationship Development
Identify, vet, and contract with influencers and ambassadors across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Foster long-term partnerships that build authenticity and trust. Serve as primary liaison between the brand and talent, agencies, or talent managers.
- Program Strategy & Execution
Develop and manage the overall influencer and ambassador strategy aligned with brand and business goals; build scalable programs with micro, macro, and celebrity influencers; lead campaign planning; manage budgets; collaborate with internal channels; identify trends and optimize spend; manage content workflow using internal tools; brainstorm growth strategies; provide thought leadership; collaborate with agencies and vendors; track performance and measure success; evaluate talent effectiveness.
- Reporting & Analytics
Oversee campaign execution, track metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI), and provide actionable insights; use Gen.Video for discovery, management, and reporting; define KPIs and report to stakeholders; measure performance against goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with brand, social, PR, e-commerce, and creative teams; collaborate with legal and procurement on contracts and compliance; partner with analytics teams to refine KPIs; liaise with regional counterparts in the Americas for consistency.
Key Experience & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience
7+ years of experience in planning digital marketing programs, including paid media, channel marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer marketing.
Licenses & Certifications
Impact Certificate - Preferred
Software/Technical Skills
Impact Platform and Gen.id Platform; strong knowledge of PC and Apple software; solid understanding of social media platforms; familiarity with media tracking tools such as Cision, HubSpot, or Meltwater.
Other Skills
Excellent communication, strong data analysis, project management, proven influencer campaign track record, contract and budget management, PR knowledge, social media proficiency, collaboration, attention to detail, and familiarity with digital PR tools and the crafts/printing industries.
Compensation & Schedule
This role is hybrid. Eligible for remote work up to two days per week; office days determined by managers.
Base Salary
The targeted base salary range is $105,000 - $125,000 per year. Base salary depends on education, experience, and internal factors.
Additional Compensation
Eligible for a 15% bonus at 100% of target, with potential for above-target payouts based on company performance and individual results.
