Salesforce Technical Writer — Full Time, Remote

Public Trust

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Technical Writer to join our Release Team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical understanding, process knowledge, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document technical release team processes and workflows
  • Write clear, testable release team user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Produce clear written communications explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, product owners, and business users
  • Commitment to professional growth and learning

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, information systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing or business analysis, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce
  • Extensive understanding of Jira and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Additional Salesforce Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce release cycles, sandbox strategy, SFDX source driven development, change sets, and deployment tools (e.g., Copado and Github workflows)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Admin, Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder)
  • Background working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other government agencies
