As a Production Expeditor Lead, you will coordinate the flow of materials and jobs across multiple production departments to ensure timely processing and delivery, while also training and guiding team members in efficient workflow practices. In this cross-functional role, you will be responsible for routing work to and from the Bindery, ensuring on-time delivery, and verifying quality checks before shipment in alignment with TBG/Smartpress customer standards.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience in a production environment Previous leadership experience preferred Strong multitasking and communication skills Background in lean manufacturing principles (preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable operating power tools and machinery What You'll Do as a Production Expeditor Lead:

Lead, train, and evaluate team members. Operate tech tools (Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, TBG Systems, etc.). Direct the movement of jobs across print, coating, cutting, finishing, kitting, and shipping departments Train and guide team members on equipment and production processes Ensure raw materials are staged and ready to minimize production delays Communicate job status and realistic delivery timelines to Customer Service Reps (CSRs) Confirm quality inspections are completed before shipping Track orders to meet delivery goals and document performance in systems like Pace and Collaterate Troubleshoot workflow issues and recommend process improvements Maintain supply levels and organize job materials efficiently Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
