Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through validated assessments and keen observational tactics. Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams - including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families - to develop holistic care plans. Engage patients and families in education that empowers progress outside of therapy sessions. Provide support with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise and timely records following state, federal, and organizational mandates. Keep abreast of emerging trends and advancements in the field via continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
