Description Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric spectra utilizing established assessment tools and careful observation. Create tailored treatment strategies that address immediate goals alongside long-lasting communication, cognition, or swallowing requirements. Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions covering communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing aspects. Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to design effective and inclusive care plans. Provide educational resources for patients and families to support their journey beyond clinical sessions. Assist with sporadic inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure ongoing continuity of care. Uphold accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of advancements in the field through continuous education, professional development, and peer interaction. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ADA-accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be completed within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
