Description Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning across the pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational strategies. Create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet immediate and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions with a focus on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive and effective care plans. Provide educational resources to patients and their families to support therapeutic progress beyond the therapy environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care continuity. Maintain accurate documentation reflecting compliance with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of current trends and best practices in the field. Education

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification has not yet been attained. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month of employment. Skills

Proficient in evidence-based treatment methods suitable for all age groups, showcasing a solid comprehension of speech, language, and swallowing disorders arising from both developmental and acquired causes. Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and collaborative care teams. Capable of adjusting therapy approaches to accommodate a variety of cultural and linguistic individualities. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
