Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients of all ages utilizing standardized assessments alongside observational assessments. Create tailored treatment strategies addressing both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions with an emphasis on language, fluency, swallowing, and voice. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, doctors, and families to ensure comprehensive care. Provide education to patients and their families to reinforce progress outside the clinical environment. Support inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as necessary, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise and timely records following state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field. Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year if not yet ASHA certified. Certifications

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of starting. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based therapies across all age ranges, alongside a profound understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Adaptability in therapy techniques to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
