Cascade Bicycle Studio (CBS) is a rapidly growth, high-end fit studio serving a clientele with high expectations. The primary role of the CBS Marketing Lead is to oversee marketing for CBS across all analog and digital channels. This role is client facing and upholds the community, service, brand, and performance standards for CBS. The Marketing Lead will report to the General Manager.


The Marketing Lead is primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following:


  • Lead new customer acquisition for bike sales, service, accessories, and fits
  • In collaboration with investor group, develop annual marketing and content plan to achieve annual overall business goals
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and enhancing all our customer related platforms, including Marsello, Google Analytics, Lightspeed, Squarespace, and Salesforce
  • Expand digital presence
  • Grow social media engagement and website traffic (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Strava, and Google Business Page)
  • Maintain and update website content as needed
  • Develop and execute email campaigns
  • Continually refine customer segmentation for both short-term promotions and long-term analytics
  • Elevating brand presence for store location, services, and community engagement
  • Work with partner brands on securing marketing dollars for CBS, strategizing, and executing co-branded promotions and events
  • Lead the development and execution of promotional events (e.g. sales)
  • Lead the development and execution of in-person customer events (excluding store rides)
  • Assist with in-store merchandising strategy and execution
  • Must be in the studio at least 20 hours per week Monday-Friday when not participating in a CBS ride or event


Job Requirements

·     Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst, Marketing Manager, or similar role.

·     At least 3 years of prior marketing experience, ideally in a retail setting.

·     At least 1-2 years of marketing a consumer facing product or service.

·     Ideal candidate would have prior experience in the cycling industry – at the store level. 

·     Must have a personal passion for cycling, experience as a cyclist, and a willingness to participate on CBS / customer facing rides that may happen outside of normal business hours.

·     Experience in planning and budgeting

·     Knowledge of marketing processes and functions

·     Strong analytical ability

·     Excellent communication skills

·     Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

·     Problem-solving aptitude


Compensation and Benefits

·     Full-time position. Monday through Friday. 40 hours per week.

·     Hourly: $25-30/hr based on qualifications

·     Eligible for semi-annual team bonus program

·     Medical benefits fully paid for by CBS after initial onboarding period

·     Unlimited paid time off policy after initial onboarding period
