Position Overview
The KH Office is seeking a highly organized and resourceful experienced Interior Design Renovation Admin
with a unique blend of skills in sales support, high-profile furniture installation oversight, and a strong foundation in the design industry. With the current busy season driving increased client activity and complex installations, we are expanding our team to ensure strong support at both the executive and operational levels. This role requires a seasoned professional who can balance executive-level administrative work with hands-on involvement in client engagement and staging execution, all while bringing a deep understanding of design principles, business development, processes, and culture. Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support Proactively manage complex executive calendars, prioritize meetings, and ensure optimal time allocation. Draft, proof, and prepare high-level correspondence, proposals, and presentations for clients and partners. Anticipate leadership needs, providing timely information, materials, and logistical support. Assist with expense reporting. Coordinate calendars, installations, and site visits across several active projects. Help keep design and construction timelines on track by anticipating needs and streamlining schedules. Be the communication link between design teams, vendors, contractors, and clients. Support leadership with scheduling, task management, and operational organization. Use your knowledge of construction and trades to keep site activity aligned with project goals. Stay calm and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Organized, detail-focused, and great at juggling multiple projects. Strong communicator who enjoys working with lots of different people. Familiarity with construction or design industry terminology is a plus. Someone who brings a steady, proactive approach to busy times. Client Service & Relationship Management Act as a polished, client-facing representative of the company, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand’s service standards. Research and prepare briefing materials for client meetings; manage follow-up actions to advance opportunities. Serve as a primary point of contact during installations, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and delighted throughout the process. Luxury Design & Installation Oversight Lead on-site installation efforts, coordinating vendors, logistics, and design teams to deliver flawless results that align with the company’s creative vision. Perform in-field tasks including site inspections, quality control, and accurate measurement recording. Resolve on-site issues swiftly while maintaining professionalism and client confidence. Maintain oversight of warehouse inventory, ensuring all items are properly cataloged and ready for installation. In-Field Representation / Labor: This role requires hands-on, in-field manual labor work; job-site clean-up, hanging artwork; accurately taking, recording and relaying field measurements; lifting items of 50 lbs or less. On-site issue resolution with the Design Team, Director of Operations and Senior Project Manager. Operational Coordination Organize and manage timelines for installations, client visits, and events, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule. Arrange travel and accommodations for executives and team members for client meetings, design events, and installations. Keep CRM and internal databases updated with accurate client and project information. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as an Interior Design Renovation Administrator, ideally within a luxury interior design firm or adjacent creative industry setting Demonstrated success directly supporting executives at a high level, with strong organizational and administrative skills Hands-on experience leading or overseeing high-profile design installations — coordinating vendors, logistics, and client-facing delivery 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, including supporting the sales cycle, tracking leads, and advancing client opportunities Strong, established network within the luxury design industry preferred, with credibility and exposure to high-touch client service environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished professional presence Comfortable balancing in-office-based executive support with in-field installation oversight, including physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs) Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.
