The Director of Public Relations, Events & Influencer is to lead global marketing efforts. The role focuses on building a premier strategy to grow designer’s profile, brand and product awareness through media and consumer-focused outreach and events. You will partner across channels to deliver magnificent storytelling and drive impactful media results.

Must have experience with a luxury fashion PR firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated PR and communications strategies.

• Foster and expand strong relationships with key media outlets, stylists, celebrities, and influencers to amplify brand presence across various channels including TV/film, digital, social, and print.

• Develop and distribute press materials including press releases, media alerts, and pitch communications for product launches, partnerships, and campaigns

• Identify and execute PR opportunities to tell compelling brand stories that resonate with key target audiences across multiple media platforms.

• Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure PR strategies align seamlessly with overarching marketing campaigns and the business goals, driving a unified message and maximizing brand impact, ultimately driving sales via consistent placements.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with global partners to ensure alignment across markets and regions.

• Manage sample inventory in the showroom for presence during personal appointments with VIP clients, Stylists, Talent and Editors rotating based on seasonal and collection focus’. 

• Devise and maintain a working calendar of VIP events to use as a guideline for upcoming dressing opportunities and high-profile appearances that will maximize press for the brand. 

• Leverage strategic partner and media relationships to manage and protect brand reputation, ensuring consistent messaging and positive coverage across all media.

• Manage large-scale media and influencer seeding programs, ensuring that product placements are aligned with the brand’s image and resonate with target audiences and secure product placement.

• Recap PR efforts and results, sharing key outcomes and insights with leadership, business development teams, and external partners to demonstrate the success and impact of PR activities.

• Manage Front of House attendance for all brand events, including runway shows, press days and all off-site activations.

Qualification s

• 8-10+ years of full time experience in fashion public relations, with a focus on luxury fashion – agency experience preferred.

• Proven track record in securing high-impact media coverage across top-tier outlets in fashion, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle.

• Strong relationships with key media contacts, stylists, celebrities, and influencers, with a deep understanding of the current media landscape.
