About the Job
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our social media presence across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand’s goals, engage our audience, and drive measurable results. A working knowledge of Meltwater is a plus, as it will help in analyzing and optimizing our social media efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee daily social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and potential opportunities to enhance engagement.
- Analyze social media performance using tools like Meltwater, providing regular reports on key metrics and suggesting improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related experience.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Experience with social media analytics tools; working knowledge of Meltwater is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
