Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions (e.g., map user journeys, run surveys/interviews).
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, storyboards, and sitemaps to visualize concepts.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iterate on ideas and refine delivery.
- Help maintain design workflows, UI guidelines, or style consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Contribute to accessibility and usability improvements, ensuring products meet high standards of user-centered design.
- Present and communicate your work to internal stakeholders—i.e., your journey, rationale, and impact.
- Learn from design leaders and gradually take on increasingly independent design tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for user-centered design, strengths in empathy, curiosity, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong collaboration, communication (written & verbal), adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio with academic, personal, or internship projects showcasing wireframes, prototypes, and/or UI solutions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely and without restriction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic or internship experience in user research, usability testing, or UX strategy.
- Comfort designing for accessibility and inclusive usability.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, front-end development, or design-to-code collaboration.
- Awareness of information architecture and interaction design principles.
- Understanding of design thinking and iterative design methodologies.
- Familiarity with collaboration or prototyping tools like InVision, Whimsical, or similar.
