The hourly pay rate for this position is $29.00. This is a temporary, non-exempt position earning required Washington sick pay and paid holidays during the duration of the internship, but no other benefits are offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in assembling marketing materials.
  • Support the development of content about JTM's team members, projects, and relevant topics.
  • Contribute to social media efforts by posting content, analyzing performance data, and managing activity on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Help manage content for the website, intranet, and CRM systems.
  • Maintain marketing assets, including project descriptions, resumes, and photography.
  • Support additional marketing-related duties as needed.
Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or Journalism, with some experience in a marketing role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with social media management on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Experience with CRM programs is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and visual aesthetics in marketing materials.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear [OPTIONAL: most of the day].
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
  • Ability to remain in stationary position at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, storage areas etc.
