Overview

We are looking for a creative sound designer who loves telling stories sonically; someone who understands story beats; who exhibits musicality of pacing; and who uses sound to communicate what’s in and beyond the frame to achieve or clarify the vision of the director. In addition to the creative aspects, the Lead Sound Designer is responsible for managing and maintaining best sound practices and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sound design that supports the director’s vision and storytelling goals.
• Collaborate with directors, editors, and post teams to ensure sonic coherence and pacing.
• Maintain and improve best sound practices and workflows across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sound designer with a proven ability to tell stories sonically.
• Strong sense of musicality in pacing and timing.
• Ability to communicate what’s in and beyond the frame to achieve or clarify the director’s vision.
