Overview

Roysons Corporation is seeking a talented and dynamic Creative Liaison with a passion for design to join our wallcovering design team. This role liaises between customer creatives and in-house design studios to ensure seamless communication and the successful development of new designs and artwork. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design trends, technical aspects of wallcovering production (digital and gravure), and excellent interpersonal skills. Location: Rockaway, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customer studios and company studios for new product development, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, production teams, and clients to translate artistic visions into practical applications for wallcovering production.
• Facilitate the development of new designs from concept through production, incorporating technical production capabilities and client feedback.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to clients, gather feedback, and coordinate necessary revisions to meet client satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in printing technology and materials.
• Provide creative input and support for in-house design initiatives and potential new product lines (analog and digital).
• Build and sustain relationships with current customers while developing new relationships.
• Travel and entertain as needed to promote and nurture customer relationships; act as Brand Ambassador for wallcovering at trade shows and related events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Surface Design, Industrial Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a design-related role, preferably in wallcovering, textile, or printing industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills and successful project executions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client wishes into tangible products while meeting production requirements.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and material quality.
• Strong color evaluation能力 (e.g., Munsell color system) or equivalent.
