Overview

The Free Library of Monroe Township in Williamstown, Gloucester County, NJ is seeking a positive service-oriented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patrons at the reference desk and with computers and mobile devices. Other patron services’ support, as needed.

Qualifications

• Work experience demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers and mobile devices and willingness to learn new software.
• Prior public library experience, preferred.
• An MLIS is not required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the position would be someone with a pleasant and/or outgoing personality as this position requires working with the public. The perfect candidate would excel at customer service and multitasking.

Hours

10am-3pm every other Saturday (September-June)
