For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.**Job Title**:Design Drafter**Reporting To:**Site Engineering Manager**Work Schedule:**Onsite – Orlando, FL**To be considered for the Design Drafter, here's what you'll need to bring with you:*** Associate’s Degree in a technical major, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology* 2 years Drafting/Design work experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, Siemen’s NX, or other drafting tools.* Knowledge of machine shop practices, part fabrication methods, mathematics through descriptive geometry, dimensioning techniques, and geometric tolerancing is a plus* Ability to obtain a US security clearance.**Preferred experience:*** ASME Y14.5 GD&T* ASME Y14.100 – Engineering drawing standards* Experience with Siemen’s Teamcenter* MS VisioAs a Design Drafter, you will:* **Create Technical Drawings:** Develop detailed technical plans and design concepts. Translate design sketches and concepts into precise drawings at the part and assembly level.* **Be responsible for Configuration Control:** Be proficient in the Company’s PLM tool to design, release, document, find, and revise technical data files on a daily basis.* **Ensure Accuracy and Standards:** Verify that all technical drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with industry standards and regulations.* **Maintain and Create Documentation:** Keep detailed records and project documentation up to date.
