Groundworks New Mexico is hiring: Grant Writer (Consultant) in Albuquerque

Identify, research, and prepare grant proposals; manage post-award reporting; and maintain a grants pipeline. Work independently while coordinating with leadership to ensure funding strategies align with organizational priorities and deadlines.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

• Maintain a grant pipeline and submission calendar;
• Prepare funder reports to ensure compliance and stewardship;
• Provide monthly updates on submissions, pending requests, and upcoming opportunities to keep leadership informed and engaged in funding efforts.

Requirements:

• Proven success securing foundation, corporate, or government grants.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with a clear, persuasive style.
• Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and delivering proposals on time.
• Familiarity with nonprofit budgets and reporting.
• Knowledge of workforce development, youth services, or education initiatives preferred.
