Qualifications

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
  • Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation - National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, and fingerprints. (Standard Form 85)
  • Type of Employment: 40 hours per week
  • Period of Performance: 01 November 2025 – 31 October 2030 (Option to Extend Services)
  • Compensation: Estimate Pay $58,000 - $60,000 (negotiable)
  • Employee Paid Group Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision
  • Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours (day one)
  • Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours (day one)
  • Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (11)
  • Travel: Travel is not authorized

Working hours

Typically 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some after-hours and/or weekend work may be required to support specific tasks. Schedule is generally 40 hours per week; temporary alternate work locations may be assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (ideally in Business Administration, Management, or related field)
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience creating and implementing organizational or administrative management policies and procedures
  • Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Experience managing an agency project report library
  • Experience with office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and/or security
  • Ability to provide training and technical assistance to staff
  • Experience in information and records management
  • Proficient in a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to innovative and quality customer service
  • Physical ability to move a large number of files and/or file boxes
  • Experience providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting AV equipment during events (microphone, monitor connectivity, presentations or visual material access)
  • Experience creating and editing audio-visual content (presentations and videos)
  • Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems
  • College degree in business or information management and/or related certifications

Duties / Responsibilities

  • USTDA hosts approximately 50-60 events per year, including internal agency meetings and trainings
  • Manage reservations for USTDA’s Business Center and other Agency conference rooms (excluding the Directors Conference Room); schedule agency meetings, trainings, and high-level delegation events
  • Maintain an events calendar for the Business Center and a calendar for all Agency conference rooms
  • Perform physical room set-up, refreshment stations, and AV/teleconferencing setup for all conference rooms and the training center
  • Ensure conference room equipment is operable and troubleshoot minor connection issues
  • Receive training in management of operational functions of conference room audiovisual equipment
  • Provide IT-related support to the CIO/Deputy CIO and coordinate with audiovisual subcontractors for repairs
  • Coordinate audiovisual issues with the COR before arranging technical repair visits
  • Conduct sign-lad walk-throughs of conference spaces twice weekly to check system status and escalate issues
  • Ensure rooms, kitchens, and pantries are stocked, functional, and cleaned by COB on event days; coordinate with staff, contractors, caterers, and building staff
