Graphic Communications Specialist Job at Choptank Electric Cooperative in Denton

Choptank Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric utility serving over 55,000 members on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We're committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable power while supporting the communities we serve.

We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is responsible for developing digital and print materials that inform, engage, and reflect our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Design layouts and graphics for print, digital, and social media
• Maintain Cooperative websites and assist with email communications
• Serve as the lead photographer and videographer
• Support internal and external events, including the Annual Meeting
• Assist with content creation and brand consistency across platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience with web design (Drupal, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Valid driver's license required
