Multimedia Designer Job at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in Columbus

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer to bring our storytelling to life across digital and retail touchpoints. This role is ideal for a versatile creative with sharp visual instincts, cross-platform fluency, and a deep foundation in graphic design.

The Multimedia Designer will report to the Creative Director and be based in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design execution across digital ads, email, social, motion graphics, and other key channels
• Turn creative direction into clear, effective, and scalable visual systems
• Design with purpose—delivering cohesive, brand-right layouts and assets
• Create motion assets to support and elevate storytelling
• Edit short-form video content to extend static design work and bring ideas to life across digital platforms
• Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to shape ideas and deliver high-impact work
• Bring a systems-thinking approach—streamlining workflows, creating reusable assets, and ensuring visual consistency
• Deliver optimized assets tailored to platform specifications, accessibility standards, and performance best practices

Qualifications:

• 4–6+ years of experience in a fast-paced, design-forward environment
• A portfolio that highlights digital-first graphic design, supported by motion and campaign work
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Figma
• A keen eye for visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and design systems
• Experience optimizing creative for digital performance
• Strong project ownership: detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• A collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset with a passion for pushing creative work beyond the expected
