As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' shopping experience by putting
Customers First . Your responsibilities will involve providing exceptional service, assisting with design needs, and maintaining showroom standards. You'll have the opportunity to help customers realize their dream kitchens and bathrooms while driving sales for the department and store. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: Deliver fast, friendly, and expert service to all customers. Proactively engage customers on the sales floor. Greet customers with a smile and make eye contact to foster a welcoming environment. Utilize open-ended questions to understand customers' project needs and expertise level. Show genuine enthusiasm for customer projects. Manage multiple customers effectively when necessary. Express appreciation to customers for choosing The Home Depot. Follow up with customers via phone to ensure satisfaction and to assist with further inquiries. Stay informed about products and services available at The Home Depot. Respond to customer inquiries with tailored information. Highlight the features and benefits of merchandise effectively. Guide customers on steps to complete their projects and recommend appropriate products. Assist customers with special orders and installed sales as needed. Nature and Scope: Be prepared to work in an environment where forklifts and heavy equipment may be present, and maintain awareness of potential uneven surfaces. Expect exposure to a warehouse atmosphere which can be dusty or noisy at times. Adapt to changing temperatures due to open doors. Be cautious of slippery floors, especially in wet conditions. Handle merchandise with care, being mindful of sharp edges. Be aware of potential gas fumes emitted by passing forklifts. Understand that tools and supplies may contain hazardous materials. Environmental Job Requirements: While the environment is usually comfortable, be prepared for exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort such as dust, fumes, or odors. Travel:
