Job Description:
Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr
Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for insurance applications, including portals, mobile apps, and servicing platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Translate insurance business requirements into functional design components and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Apply accessibility standards and responsive design principles across devices and platforms.
- Maintain design systems and reusable components aligned with insurance branding and compliance guidelines.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize workflows and improve digital touchpoints.
- Support iterative design processes within agile delivery models.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Axure.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience designing for insurance platforms, including policy issuance, claims processing, and customer onboarding.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend development constraints.
- Ability to apply accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to insurance.
- Exposure to analytics tools and user behavior tracking methods.
- Experience in creating responsive and adaptive design solutions.
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based UI frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in designing digital experiences for life, health, or general insurance products.
- Experience with personalization, self-service features, and customer journey mapping.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints.
- Certification in UX design or human-centered design practices.
