Job Description:

Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr

Responsibilities:

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for insurance applications, including portals, mobile apps, and servicing platforms.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
• Translate insurance business requirements into functional design components and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
• Apply accessibility standards and responsive design principles across devices and platforms.
• Maintain design systems and reusable components aligned with insurance branding and compliance guidelines.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize workflows and improve digital touchpoints.
• Support iterative design processes within agile delivery models.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Axure.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience designing for insurance platforms, including policy issuance, claims processing, and customer onboarding.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend development constraints.
• Ability to apply accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to insurance.
• Exposure to analytics tools and user behavior tracking methods.
• Experience in creating responsive and adaptive design solutions.
• Knowledge of design systems and component-based UI frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in designing digital experiences for life, health, or general insurance products.
• Experience with personalization, self-service features, and customer journey mapping.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints.
• Certification in UX design or human-centered design practices.
