Summary Hamilton High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Musical Co-Advisor for the upcoming seasonal production. This role involves collaborating to support the planning, development, and execution of the musical theater program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theater, music, or education, and will be committed to fostering a positive and creative environment for our students.

Responsibilities - Assist in the selection of the musical production, considering student interests and available resources. - Collaborate to organize auditions, casting, and rehearsals. - Provide guidance and support to students in vocal performance, choreography, and character development. - Help coordinate production logistics, including set design, costume creation, and technical elements such as lighting and sound. - Facilitate regular communication with students, and school administration regarding rehearsal schedules and production updates. - Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging student participation and teamwork. - Attend rehearsals and performances, providing mentorship and support to students throughout the process. - Assist in the marketing and promotion of the musical, including program design and ticket sales. - Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements - Previous experience in theater, music, or education, preferably in a high school setting. - Strong knowledge of musical theater, including performance techniques, stage production, and direction. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. - Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Availability to work evenings and weekends during the rehearsal and performance periods. - A passion for fostering creativity and self-expression in students through the arts. - Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check as required by school district policy.
