We are seeking a Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist at Avenues Recovery Center, you will design therapeutic musical interventions based on therapeutic goals, plan and provide music therapy sessions to improve clients' physical and mental health, and monitor client progress consistently to measure effectiveness of sessions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing therapeutic musical interventions based on therapeutic goals
• Planning and providing music therapy sessions to improve clients' physical and mental health
• Monitoring client progress consistently to measure effectiveness of sessions
• Collaborating regularly with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
• Maintaining thorough documentation of all sessions conducted
• Ensuring all clinical assessments and individual client charting is complete

We are looking for a candidate with a degree or certification in music or music therapy, proficiency in playing and teaching music, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and observational skills.
