Join to apply for the Tradeshow Marketer role at Great Day Improvements Patio Enclosures. You will represent Patio Enclosures products at trade shows, fairs, and community events as a brand ambassador.

As a Tradeshow Marketer, you will schedule appointments at home shows and other events through face-to-face interactions with potential clients, and you may demonstrate products to prospects. We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic, and comfortable dealing directly with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and attend home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to engage potential customers.
  • Demonstrate Patio Enclosures products to prospects when appropriate.
  • Engage in face-to-face conversations to promote the brand and generate interest and leads.
  • Set up and tear down exhibit displays and materials per guidelines.
  • Schedule free inspections and estimates following lead scheduling and submission best practices.
  • Travel to event locations and participate in door-to-door marketing as needed.
  • Capture interest, communicate effectively, and represent assigned brand with professionalism.
  • Work independently or with a team; grow within the company to represent additional brands over time.
  • Maintain flexible work hours including daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
  • Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Smartphone for timekeeping and appointment setting.
  • Represent Patio Enclosures or one of Great Day’s home improvement brands at local events such as trade shows, fairs, festivals, and conferences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; energetic and engaging when interacting with customers.
  • Resilient in handling rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Team-oriented yet capable of working independently and taking initiative at events.
  • Ability to travel to events and adapt to various environments, indoors and outdoors.
  • Timely submission of timecards and paperwork.
  • Growth mindset to expand to additional brands within the company.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in tradeshow marketing or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
  • Experience in inside or outside sales is helpful but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Base Pay $18.00 per hour plus commission; compensation increases based on performance.
