Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York that specializes in serving online businesses in hyper growth mode, as well as traditional businesses building their direct-to-consumer online sales offering. The company leverages learnings from partnering with leading eCommerce brands to accelerate success with Facebook, Instagram and other paid social channels. This is a full-time Senior Digital Media Strategist & Buyer role focused on Paid Social and Search, based in NYC with a hybrid work arrangement (USA located applicants only).

Responsibilities

  • Manage paid social media and search ad budgets, making adjustments to ensure KPIs are hitting goals
  • Create and traffic ads daily using Meta and Google ad buying interfaces, with strong attention to detail and error-free client ads
  • Perform weekly/bi-weekly check-in calls with clients, reporting on specific initiatives or overall account performance
  • Build recurring and ad hoc client reports and internal account analyses focused on performance and creative development
  • Brainstorm ad content with the creative strategy and editing team, incorporating client needs
  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Meta ad campaigns from data recommendations to execution to analysis
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical and strategic action plans
  • Familiarize yourself with client products and develop promotional strategies
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance, establish benchmarks and recommend future tests
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions
  • Act as executive sponsor for several key clients when needed, serving as primary media contact and occasionally for creative matters
  • Participate in sales calls, client audits, and onboarding processes alongside the day-to-day client team to build trust with clients from the start
  • This is an individual contributor role; no direct team management, but mentorship and guidance may be requested by the team

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent media buying/advertising analyst experience
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred)
  • Experience in performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, or other quantitative/data-driven fields
  • Experience leading client account relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical track record
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of working well independently and in a team in a startup environment
  • Understanding of performance marketing KPIs vital to e-commerce (ROAS, CAC/CPA, Conversion Rate, AOV, etc.)
  • Understanding of online advertising industry and social media (preferred)
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting metrics, including pivot tables (preferred)
  • Experience working on Marketing Decks (preferred)
  • Capable of navigating Google Analytics, Shopify, or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Experience managing monthly media budgets of $50,000 or higher (preferred)

Location & Compensation

  • Work Location: Hybrid role – New York City; you must be willing to come to the office 3 days per week
  • Compensation: Base compensation starts from $100,000 and can be higher based on experience; opportunities for performance bonuses
