Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York that specializes in serving online businesses in hyper growth mode, as well as traditional businesses looking to develop direct‑to‑consumer online sales. Founded by a former long‑time Facebook employee, the agency applies learnings from partnering with leading eCommerce businesses to accelerate success with Meta, Instagram, and other paid social channels.

We’re looking for a creative and analytical full‑time Digital Media Strategist & Buyer who has experience with Paid Social and a passion for performance marketing to join our team in NYC.

You will maintain day‑to‑day client communications with disruptor brands, create & manage ads using ad buying platforms like Meta, and collaborate with our team to formulate strategic action plans for each client.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage paid social media ad budgets, making adjustments to ensure KPIs are hitting goals
  • Create and traffic ads daily using Meta’s ad‑buying interface, with a strong attention to detail and ensuring client ads are error‑free
  • Perform weekly/bi‑weekly check‑in calls with clients, reporting on specific initiatives or overall account performance
  • Build recurring and ad‑hoc client reports and internal account analyses that are both performance‑ and creative‑development‑driven
  • Brainstorm ad content with our creative strategy and editing team, drawing on client needs and input where possible
  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Meta ad campaigns from data recommendations to execution to analysis
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical and strategic action plans
  • Familiarize yourself with client products & develop promotional strategies
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions

Candidate Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent media‑buying/advertising analyst experience
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred)
  • Experience in performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, or other quantitative/data‑driven fields
  • Experience leading client account relationships
  • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical track record
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work well individually and in a team; self‑starter who thrives in a startup environment
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing KPIs relevant to e‑commerce such as ROAS, CAC/CPA, conversion rate, AOV, etc. (preferred)
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and social media (preferred)
  • Experience working with Excel/Google Sheets for reporting metrics, including constructing pivot tables (preferred)
  • Experience working on marketing decks (preferred)
  • Capability to navigate Google Analytics, Shopify, or other platforms (preferred)
  • Experience managing monthly Meta media budgets of $50,000 or higher (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads Manager a plus

Compensation

  • Base compensation starts at $80,000 and can be higher based on experience

Location

  • Hybrid role – New York City. Must be willing to come to the office 3 days per week.
