Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr.
What you’ll do
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and drive company growth; coordinate and oversee job-related activities with key stakeholders; communicate goals and measure progress.
- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback; collaborate with all levels on store operations, technology, merchandising, and company direction.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service; support customer service initiatives; resolve customer issues; implement action plans to correct deficiencies; drive process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics; support Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes.
- Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, expense control, merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop actions to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.

Minimum qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of CBC and firearms training may be required. Some roles require state-issued certificates for ammunition-only facilities. Associates must attend and complete required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U and Bellevue University) or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership (Live Better U and Bellevue University); experience supervising 5+ direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
