This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.**A Day in the Life*** Provide graphic production and digital support. Serve as production designer finalizing graphic files, posting and distributing files, managing asset database, and ensuring master brand compliance.* Manage materials library and assets* Produce print/digital-ready layouts in a timely fashion ensuring Medtronic Masterbrand compliance with minimal or no supervision* Layout copy, images, build charts and graphs per designers or project manager’s instruction.* Perform “production level” revisions to digital images and illustrations.* Request print estimates and manage bidding process and vendor quality control* Work with outside vendors to bring materials to a final print-ready, digital-ready file.* Provide support directly to Marketing by supplying images, graphic elements, etc. to be used in materials developed outside MarCom* Quality Control: Ensures accuracy by understanding and applying the master brand guidelines, creative process, and internal proofing.* Position will also be responsible for understanding and adhering to all Medtronic digital and social media guidelines and legal and regulatory compliance that effectively deliver the Medtronic brand strategy.* Ensure legal & regulatory, digital policy and master brand compliance**Must Have: Minimum Requirements** *To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile.*High School Diploma and 6+ years graphic design experienceORBachelors Degree and 4+ years graphic design experienceORAdvanced Degree and 2+ years graphic design experience**Nice to Have*** Degree in Marketing, digital marketing, or graphic arts.* 5+ years experience in graphic design in medical device or other highly regulated industry.* Working knowledge of legal and regulatory digital policy and master brand compliance.**Physical Job Requirements**The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
