Responsibilities

• Sell Ingram library titles and related materials to existing and prospective accounts within the assigned territory
• Represent Ingram Library Services at library association conferences and conduct presentations on products and services
• Conduct large group presentations and training sessions for library staff
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through site visits, virtual meetings, and ongoing communication
• Provide market information and collaborate on the development of new programs and services to meet customer needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of sales, library, book industry, or related experience
• Strong communication skills for effective presentations and customer interactions
• Ability to maintain knowledge of new and backlist titles and products
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and fostering positive customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the book industry or a strong interest in books
• Familiarity with library systems and collection development processes
• Previous experience conducting training sessions or large group presentations
• Strong networking skills to build relationships at conferences and events
• Knowledge of market trends and customer needs in the library sector
