Overview
UI/UX Architect role at Capgemini. Lead development inclusive to agile teams to execute User Interface programs and design the look and feel of next generation UI. Collaborate with clients, product management, and the UI team; design the technical architecture of UI portal framework with pluggable modules; advocate for user-centric research; plan usability evaluation across UI development stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead development inclusive to agile team to execute User Interface programs
- Lead and direct UI team of user experience designers, UI software engineers, and graphic designers
- Design portal-style UI framework, modular architecture, and its API interfaces
- Design intuitive look and feel of next generation UI
- Collaborate with clients, product management, and the UI team
- Design entire technical architecture of UI portal framework along with pluggable modules
- Work closely with customers, product management, graphic designers, and usability experts to present compelling user experience
- Advocate for user-centric research
- Use strategic relationships and influence to widen the organization
- Collect requirements for user interface research
- Recommend processes, services, software and tools to support business objectives related to user interfaces and infrastructure technologies
- Understand needs and existing technologies through engage platform and drive toward convergence
- Guide process and technology adoption to ensure QA testing of User Interfaces and applications
- Contribute to enhancing the design process
- Plan and execute usability evaluation and testing across UI development stages
Qualifications
- Experience leading UI/UX teams and designing portal-style UI frameworks
- Strong collaboration with clients and product management
- Experience designing modular UI architectures and APIs
- Proven ability to advocate for user-centric research and usability testing
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process and technology adoption
