Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between RV customers and the dealership's service technicians.
• Accurately identify and document customer concerns, communicate repair needs and costs, and coordinate the workflow of the service department to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Collaborate with the parts department and technicians to gather information on service and repair needs and timelines, and share this with the customer.
• Ensure the warranty department has all necessary information to submit accurate details to manufacturers.
• Act as a quality control representative and the primary point of contact with the customer.
• Demonstrate empathy and maintain a professional demeanor; be able to work weekends and holidays if needed.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education or training in automotive technology is a plus.
• Previous experience as an Internal Service Writer/Advisor in the automotive, RV, or marine industry is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of RV systems, components, and basic maintenance/repair procedures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances) is a significant advantage.
• Able to navigate a computer, the internet, and email; proficiency with service-management software is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks smoothly.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays if required.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
