Amazon Devices and Services is looking for an experienced technical writer able to dive into our developer-facing projects and help document creation and porting guidance for apps running on our TV and tablet products. You will work with a collaborative team of writers and engineers to create best-in-class documentation used by developers all over the world. Responsibilities Drive the development of product documentation for APIs and SDKs with product and engineering teams Work as part of a team to produce conceptual, how-to, and reference documentation for app development tools Apply and contribute to design and editorial standards to produce high-quality content. Qualifications 3+ years as a technical writer in a relevant field and a solid understanding of the software development process Experience designing and authoring API and SDK documentation for a developer audience Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript or C++, React native experience preferred Experience working with a CMS tool like Git Experience working in HTML or Markdown Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail.
