Overview

Our client, a (Tech industry), is looking to hire a (Technical Writer III) in (Sunnyvale, CA/ Seattle, WA).

Job Title: Technical Writer III

Duration – 6 months contract

Location – Sunnyvale, CA/ Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $50- $55/Hour

Description: Client is looking for an experienced technical writer able to dive into our developer-facing projects and help document creation and porting guidance for apps running on our TV and tablet products. You will work with a collaborative team of writers and engineers to create best-in-class documentation used by developers all over the world.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the development of product documentation for APIs and SDKs with product and engineering teams.
• Work as part of a team to produce conceptual, how-to, and reference documentation for app development tools.
• Apply and contribute to design and editorial standards to produce high-quality content.

Preferred qualifications

• 3 years as a technical writer in a relevant field and a solid understanding of the software development process.
• Experience designing and authoring API and SDK documentation for a developer audience.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript or C, React native experience preferred.
• Experience working with a CMS tool like Git.
• Experience working in HTML or Markdown.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Location

Position can be based in Sunnyvale or Seattle areas.
