JOB PURPOSE: Provide excellent customer service in selling art materials. Receive, stock shipments, and process customer web orders in a fast-paced environment within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Possess, acquire and maintain knowledge of artist supplies, creative materials and techniques
• Assist customers and process payments for purchasing merchandise
• Handle incoming freight from UPS, USPS, FedEx, couriers and various truck lines
• Receive shipped merchandise by matching receiving work sheets with the shipped product
• Stock received merchandise
• Support inventory management by accurate shelf labeling and inventory counts
• Pack and ship outbound freight for web orders and store transfers
• Keep assigned work areas safe, neat and stocked daily.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when relating to coworkers, customers and shipping companies
• Must be punctual, reliable and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete all other duties assigned by manager
