$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Overview
The Digital Graphic Designer will be closely supporting the Senior Graphic Designer in concepting and designing pages for the brand’s website. The Digital Graphic Designer will additionally design for channels such as email, social, and digital marketing, and ensure these channels align to the site’s layout. Candidates should be passionate about the fashion or online retail spaces, familiar with current design trends across digital experiences, and have a keen eye for design, and typography.
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively with a team of designers, copywriters, project managers, and business teams to produce final designs in a timely manner
- Support overall site design and updates for Michael Kors, Michael Kors Outlet, and Michael Kors for wholesale partners
- Assist in the creation of digital marketing and email assets to drive traffic to the site and support the campaign in innovative ways
- Concept new designs and guidelines with the Senior Designer and translate those designs across multiple marketing channels
- Contribute to the evolution of the site design, functionality, and customer experience
You’ll Need to Have
- BA in Graphic Design or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, ideally within fashion, marketing, or e-commerce industries
- Ability to work 4 days a week in-office in Midtown, NYC
- Primarily fluent with prototyping software like Figma (or Adobe XD or Sketch)
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with motion design (Adobe After Effects, or similar) is a plus
- Strong portfolio showing breadth of site, email, and/or other marketing design work, with attention to branding guidelines and design systems
- Interpersonal confidence: attend presentations and reviews with the Senior Designer; speak up when requirements are unclear; collaborate under pressure; clarify requests with stakeholders; adapt quickly to feedback and changing inputs.
