Manager, Brand Media at DoorDash
Overview
DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. We’re looking for a marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, brand, product, and operations to develop integrated marketing strategies for our consumer business. The Brand Media team is focused on end-to-end media campaign management, including strategic recommendation, execution, and reporting, and will redefine the company’s brand media approach to drive brand health and long-term user growth across key audiences, media platforms, and partnerships in sports and entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operational management of brand media campaign execution, including media recommendations, budget management, and data/analytical reporting
- Collaborate with agency partners to develop media and brand media integration strategies and tactical recommendations to grow brand consideration and brand health
- Inform media recommendations with subject matter expertise, consumer knowledge, and research data
- Deliver concise executive post-campaign reports, insights, and forward-looking recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
- Own work streams with strong project management to keep campaigns on track, on time, and on budget
- Act as SME for partner products, connecting brand media with partnerships and brand strategy/creative to improve GTM media plans
- Develop new processes and playbooks to optimize internal cross-functional operations and external agency partnerships
- Partner with analytics and media teams to roadmap testing and experimentation (e.g., incrementality testing, new formats, beta features)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus
- 6+ years managing and executing strategic and tactical, large-scale advertising campaigns across brand media channels (e.g., OTT/CTV, streaming audio, OOH, sports/entertainment media IP, content, social); experience with paid media planning, buying, and optimization in an agency or in-house setting
- Clear and succinct written communication; comfortable presenting to executive audiences and cross-functional partners
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights while maintaining bias for action
- Collaborative with cross-functional teams across marketing, analytics, partnerships, and creative; experience in matrixed organizations
- Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to solve problems and build new processes with limited resources

Compensation: $129,200—$190,000 USD base salary, with opportunities for equity grants. Base pay is localized by work location.
